I mentioned the small dining area predicament that my sister has in an earlier post. Here are a few possibilities for Expandable tables that may be a solution. Expandable tables are a great idea for people who like to entertain but don't have the space for a large table at all times.

Small Space dining - Folding tables

My sister has a small living space in her apartment that has to function as a living room, office and dining room. She only has a small amount of room that can be used a dining area, so I decided to see what I could find that would make best use of the space.

The first option would be folding tables. They allow minimal space taken up when not in use and can even be stored in a closet or different room.

Living room set

A special blogpost for my friend looking to get a new living room set for about $1000. She loved the living room set that I have but importing a living room set from Poland isn't really an option. I went about seeing what I could find with an equally modern look but more easily available and more reasonable price.

They have locations in DC and Virginia that you can visit to place an order. When I went, the salespeople were pretty useless and didn't know anything about the companies their store carried. Fortunately, the store website is incredibly helpful and has everything you would need to know. I'd recommend checking the website out and making your picks before even coming in the store. Not sure about what kind of shipping charges they have.

Bedroom Runners

My dog Zoey is having some difficulties with the floor in the master bedroom. I'm pretty sure it's all mental, because I have the same floor installed on the basement level and she has no problem walking and running crazy down there. She's convinced herself that the bedroom floor is slippery, so whenever she walks in the room, she starts running in place like the road runner. Fortunately, I found that if I place a rug next to the bed, she's able to jump on and off the bed no problem.  I've been using an old bath rug that has a huge paint stain on it, so I decided to find a better and more fitting alternative.

I did check out the colors of the Home Flora rug and the colors work perfect with the room. But I'm not sure if one of the other ones would work just as well or better for a lower price.
